GREAT SUCCESS FOR THE WORLD-PREMIERE OF THE BOHEMIAN CONCERTO
Described by publishers and leading pianists as "one of Piatti's most beautiful and accomplished works to-date”, his Bohemian Concerto for Piano and Orchestra was recently world-premiered by virtuoso pianist Thomas Pandolfi together with the Symphonicity Orchestra under the direction of maestro Daniel Boothe in Virginia Beach, in the United States of America.
The "Bohemian" is a very emotional and passionate work, very much in the spirit of Chopin’s and Rachmaninoff's concertos, with the piano as the main protagonist while the orchestra dialogues with, and supports the soloist, requiring from the pianist both a very fine and subtle interpretation ability as well as considerable stamina and technical skills.
The concerto's name refers to the spirit of what we call a “bohemian" person, someone that leads the free spirited, tumultuous existence of an artist, with moments of excess, ecstacy and passion as well as warmth, introspection, love for the world and intense joie de vivre.
LONDON MOZART PLAYERS TO PREMIERE Multi-Faith Oratorio
Internationally acclaimed London Mozart Players are set to world-premiere Piatti's Multi-Faith Oratorio Libera Nos on 13th June 2019 at the iconic Opus Theatre in Hastings, joined by selected members of the Hastings Sinfonia Orchestra as well as five Soloists, a Mixed Choir and a Children's Choir. The by the Musica Sacra organisation commissioned monumental work includes sacred texts from all five mayor world-religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam and is, to the best of our knowledge, the very first multi-faith oratorio to be premiered anywhere in the world. Piatti dedicated the work to "all the people that give to the world, instead of just taking from it".

The satyrical songs cycle with lyrics by the late Frieder Nögge and based on the Zodiac, will be performed again, this time by the fabulous Sebastian Scheuthle and Frank Tischer.
